So a bit of news to report.

I.
We are recording the full length March 11-16 at The Panda Studios in Fremont, Ca. Sam Pura will be handling the switch board again for us and this will be our third release recorded by The Panda Studios. The record should be about 12 or 13 songs, two of which are from previous releases. We are thinking the title will be Coldest Winter; Darkest Reaches of the Mind. Cool.

II.
We are playing California Uber Alles Fest in Boyle Heights, Los Angeles in a few weeks. We play sunday, March 7 with Downpresser, Take Offense (DON Recs), Ruckus, and a ton of others. Some cool bands on this line up so make sure you go both days.

III.
Tours. We are doing two tours coming up. First will be a small west coast thing then a full US in the summer. Both are with our friends from Canada, Withdrawal. The dates are as follows:

WEST COAST:
May 20-27

FULL US:
July 9-Aug 8

I will have specific dates and places in the next post.

IV.

Comment about how I look like Beetlejuice when he finds the whore house in the model town when I stomp. Punk credits to me for playing that show with an abscess in my gum and a 101 degree fever. I rule.

WE ARE DONE WRITING THE FULL LENGTH. Recording dates are March 11-16 with Sam Pura at The Panda Studios. He recorded our split with Steel Nation.

So what now? Well...

We are playing Gilman Jan 29 with Cruel Hand, Bracewar, and Mother of Mercy. That kicks off a weekend.

Jan 30 @ The CYC, Fresno CA
Jan 31 @ Dustin's House, Las Vegas NV

After that, April we plan to fly out to the east coast and do a string of dates for about a week or so.

May, a west coast and two Canadian dates with Withdrawal.

Recording, new record, last shows of the year.

To update about the new record and such we are recording a demo version of two new songs that will be on our upcoming full length. These songs will be recorded Wednesday afternoon, but we don't know when they will be up because Colin is mixing them himself and he sucks at doing things in a timely fashion.

We have about 8 songs for the new full length finished. Two that are we are recording and will be released on a cassette tape pressed by Double or Nothing, two from the previous two releases, and four new songs that probably will not see the light of day until the record is finished. Updates on when the recording for that will take place.

We have two shows left this year, both are taking place this week. One is tomorrow in San Francisco with our friends in Rotting Out. The other is a banger for all you Nor Cal oldies out there. The legendary POWERHOUSE AND DOOMSDAY DEVICE will be playing once again to remember the Nor Cal great Ernie Cortez who as a band and active member of the hardcore community in this region, owe EVERYTHING to for building our scene from its foundation.

Both will be great shows. The 7th will be our last show for almost 3 months.

I'm hoping to have video from both if not at least one of those shows. If we do, it will be posted here.

Crucified: The begining of our reign.

FIRST:
We have some left over merch. Our van needs some work and we have a merch bill. So please help out if you like what you see. The link to our store is on the right hand side.

NEW RECORD
I have made a few jokes on here about a new record coming in a very lazy fashion. We have picked up some momentum because we were really living off fumes for a while. Let it be know, this record will define us as a band. This record will be our sound, what we are about and how people think of us. At least I hope that is how it plays out. Until then we will record three brand new songs as a sample of things to come. We will release it on a limited number of tapes and one song will be online.

SHOWS/TOURING
We aren't going to be playing any shows until early November. We have one booked with Product of Waste and Rotting Out in San Francisco. After that, we are keeping it low profile until after we finish recording. After the record is released, expect us to play in your town. Full US and Full Canadian after the release.

I leave you reading with this one though. In the words of the great Phil Anselmo, "MAKE SOME MOTHER FUCKIN NOOOOIIIISSSEEEEE."

It's mid August and I hate it. I hate the sun, it's not hockey season, and my birthday is at the end of the month; this stupid month makes life have no meaning.

The writing process of our new record is picking up. For those who care (which is no one)we will be releasing a limited number of tapes with two new songs that will be on the full length. We are hoping to have it out within the next month and we will post one song on our myspace and here.

We have a ton of merch left over from Sound and Fury, I will put it up on our (hopefully) fixed merch store. If you haven't received your order, I will send you a ton of free shit because I'm a moron who can't get my head out of my ass.

Once the recording for our full length happens, we will have posted tour dates. A full US and full Canadian tour can be expected.

Until then, don't get the flu vaccine.

So if anyone has ordered from the store we have on bigcartel there has been a large delay problem. Your merch is comin', no worries. Sorry for being a total bastard.

We are playing Rainfest up in Tacoma this coming weekend. Come find us on Saturday or Sunday (we are playing Sunday) if you wanna hang out, BBQ, play wiffle ball, or whatever. We usually have this asian looking kid with shitty hair and a creepo John Waters meth-stache following us around. His name is Colin, so you know.

We (hopefully) will have special Rainfest screen printed 7" covers /33 hand numbered for all you nerds (I'm one too) that care. Pictures of that in the next post.

As far as a new record goes... It's comin' between now and the end of time.

In case you didn't see the news, we are playing Rainfest in Tacoma, WA for the second year in a row with Ceremony, Hammer Bros, WISDOM IN CHAINS (OH BABY), Sabertooth, and a whoooole lot more. The dates on this jawn are MAY 22, 23, 24.

Sharks have won two games in a row and they seem to be on the trail back to 'Sharks Hockey' which they had down to a science for about the first 44 games of the season. This makes life for those who surround me on a daily or at least weekly basis tolerable. I was never worried about the Sharks when they were losing; why should I be? Corey Perry is a little whiney bitch, by the way. If you have heard about his complaint about Nabokov then read up about it, find the video and decide for yourself.

Look at that picture of Mr. Perry and TRY and tell me isn't the biggest cooter ever. Christ, I don't know how he hasn't gotten run at more this year. I guess that's the Ducks strategy because just looking at him makes me want to fist his mouth. Piss people off by making them look at him, they take bad penalties, Ducks on PP all night. They are 9th after all. He's so stupid looking though. Don't you know that one guy that just makes you wanna punch them every time you look at their stupid face? Fuck.

Oh yeah! We are still writing our full length. I'll post when we have a recording date so people can read it and say, "oh shit I totally don't care!" The last of the split pre-orders have shipped, I have been told. There are only about 50 copies left so get them, please.

Well it's the Wednesday after our little venture with Ceremony, Cruel Hand, and Streetwalkers. This means more summarizing with incomplete sentences, stories ya'll probably don't give a fuck about, and this time, PICTURES! Maybe video, if anyone has it? Before I start though, I just need to say Streetwalkers and Cruel Hand are incredible bands. WEDNESDAY 2-25-09:
5am - We all start driving down to San Diego. Phil is driving first shift, Colin in passanger seat, Joey in far back, I am on the floor in the middle between a bunch of seats sleeping. We get gas, I get a Concha and some chocolate milk. I finish half of both and fall asleep. Joey and I are awake at about 830am and we instantly start yelling and making fun of one another. This means that it will be a pretty typical journey for Crucified. We stop to get In-And-Out and pump gas around 10am and play a short game of Wiffle Ball. Phil can't hit worth shit. Shortly after we are in Anahiem, I am waving my SJ Sharks shirt out the window and calling people out. No one even seemed to notice, I then get made fun of for reading Harry Potter.

We get to San Diego a good 9,000 hours early (it was my idea to leave at 5am. I hate being late) and we go to pick up our new records from a local UPS Store. The pressing plant didn't send them; don't ever go through Rainbo Records, they are nazis and rapists. We hang out with No Truce for a while, go into the venue to start the show (which was in a BAD ASS record store. Seriously, if you live near SD, go to PB Music Trader and support it) and bring, in the words of our Steel Nation buddies, "the motha fuckin' pain." Show went very well except SDPD Shutting it down RIGHT at 10pm. San Diego was awesome. After that we went to Temecula to sleep with No Truce and Steel Nation.

THURSDAY 2-26-09:
830am - We wake up, hang out, watch the Price is Right and realize it's an absolutely terrible show. Drew Carrey is a fatty. We get food with Steel Nation, hang for a minute, then drive to East LA to pick up our splits. They are in! YAY. We go to Kinko's and make "limited hand numbered covers" out of nothing because we don't have the real covers yet. We make 33 and still have a bunch. Right on. hang out in front of the venue for a while until it opens. The venue is very small and we wonder, "Should the show be in here?" The answer was no. People got turned away from the door, it was a mess. However the show itself was fun.

We then make our way up to Salinas. Phil at this point really wanted food and I didn't want to pull over. I told him the gayer the stuff you do to Joey, the more likely I am to pull over. Phil then gets fully naked and rubs himself on Joey. Joey is pissed, Phil is stoked to get food. Well, joke is on him, I didn't pull over. We arrive in Salinas at 5am and go to sleep.

FRIDAY 2-27-09:
I don't remember when we woke up but we got Denny's (the pancake Puppies are quite the fucking invention) and then we roll out to Fresno. We watched Mimic 2 in the van and have regretted it ever since. We get to Fresno and its a tiny venue and a TON of kids. Let me just say, this show was by far the most fun. I wish there was video of our set so you could see the hundreds of stage dives and tons of kids moshing who didn't even know who we were. Not to mention the kid in the wheel chair circle pitting which has to be the hardest thing I have ever seen. I wish I knew that kid, he's fucking awesome. Oh did I mention the mic didn't work? Great show all around. Streetwalkers killed it. We then drive home after the show. About an hour into the drive home the van get a little wabbly. Our back passanger-side tire fucking BLOWS out. It didn't just pop, it BLEW. THE. FUCK. UP. Our van was swirving all over CA-99 and the only reason we didn't flip was because our amazing friend Veronica controlled the shit out of that van after that tire went. She got us to the side of the road safely and we owe her everything. So with a fucked up tire (we have a picture but you can't really see the damage too well) we were on the side of the road for 2 hours freezing our asses of. Finally the tire gets changed and we are going home. Phil almost killed us again so I drove and got us home safely cause I'm amazing.

SATURDAY 2-28-09:
Woke up with a fever. Played the show anyway and had a great time. Way to go, NorCal. The benefit made a good amount of money, so that was awesome. Here are some pictures from that thanks to Brenton:

ALL RAIN, STILL DRY

It has been sometime since I last updated. Here are some details of our immediate future that are worth mentioning:

+ SOCAL trip with Ceremony, Cruel Hand, and the always wild, Streetwalkers. San Diego, Los Angeles, Fresno, and back home to Berkeley, respectively.

+ We are getting ready to finish up the writing of our full length. This will be out sometime in the summer on Double or Nothing Records.
+ Split 7" with Steel Nation pre-orders HAVE shipped. No need to hop on some message boards and complain. Be excited for that Steel Nation side; hardstyle from PA.
+ San Jose Sharks are still 1st in the Western Conference. Take that, Keith Jones and Bill Engbloom.

Now for a bit of news on the bad side.

- We have in fact canceled our Canadian tour. Given job situations and the economy currently, it just was not doable. Give it up to Withdrawal for still doing the tour. Canada, we will play you someday.
- We are getting ready to finish up the writing of our full length. This will be out sometime in the summer on Double or Nothing Records. (I know this was repeated. Just in case you don't like it.)

For now, that is all. The merch store will be restocked shortly with a few new things here and there. Hopefully we'll have some pics, video, and anecdotes after this week's trip with Ceremony.

So the pre orders for the split with Steel Nation are up. We are very excited to be sharing wax with what I think is one of the better hardcore bands out there today. Steel Nation Myspace here. Crucified won't be playing any shows for about another month. We are writing a full length that we plan to have out in the spring and taking a breather. So far the writing process is slow. Once we do come back to play some shows we are going to be fairly busy. This is what we have planned:

There hasn't been an update for a while; way to be on top of it, Nick. We have two shows left for the year then we are writing a full length. Hopefully at least 7 new songs and a few older ones. In the Month of January we will be kicking the new year off with a two weeks trip though the Southwest and Midwest.

Southern California, we played the shit out of you.

FRIDAY - 10:45am. We finally part after playing tetris with our equipment for an hour. Hit the road. Lil Wayne blasting. We stop for gas around noon and decide to eat Subway and Del Taco. 7pm roles around, we arrive to our destination in Riverside, The Pharoah's Den. Stairs? Fuck, we have an 8x10 bass cab. Best work out I have had in months. Gay bar fights and sidewalk mosh to Lewd Acts. Story goes, show was over at 1030, Lewd Acts couldn't play. They set up in the street, play two songs and a Paranoid by Black Sabbath. It was probably one of the coolest things that hardcore has let me witness. Kids like to stand in one place in Riverside. Post show - wiffle ball in the parking lot of Buffalo Wild Wings, then eating wings that taste of Satan's anal cavity. Go to the place of rest after, kid named Stafford's house. Awesome guy.

SATURDAY - 11:09am. Wake up, brush teeth, change, head off to oceanside to meet up with Diego and company. Stop for gas and IHOP (another Southern California delight that we don't have in NorCal. Sike). Get to Oceanside at 3:07pm, meet up. I was changing into something more water friendly outside of the van when a train passes by. The blanket I had covering my naughties fell, so I quickly thurst my leg into the legs of my shorts. However, I accidently had both legs in one leg. The neck of my unmentioned part was still peaking out. Awesome. Went swimming in the ocean, got wonderful Server Yourself frozen yougurt and off to the show. Youth Pastor Chad was cool, free pizza. Rotting Out is a wonderful band, check them out. Did well, played well, lived well. After we drive Northridge to stay with Mr. Tim Butcher. Fell asleep in the most awkward position on the most awkward couch. I haven't slept better.

SUNDAY - 11:02am. Wake up, hear Joey, Phil, and Tim playing with Tim's dog. Cute little fella. Showered and off to eat breakfast at a fine Mexican place called SALSA & BEER. Joe Harder and Mike from Rotting Out show up. Fancy meeting you here. We dine together and bask in the greatness of our wonderful Mexican meal. Off to Hollywood to see gross looking feel males and douche bag looking males. Bought Stealing Harvard on VHS for $1 for the van (yes, we have a VHS in our van). Drive on Sunset Blvd. If we were walking I would want to punch through everyone's faces. Make it to Santa Barbara around 5:13pm. Walk to a pizza place for football, pizza, and making Joey drink lots of beer. He finished a pitcher in under and hour. He walks back to by a 40oz. Polishes that off. Worship is a good band. We played, did well. Tim Butcher passes out in the van before Pressure plays then pukes. Awesome. Pressure and Alpha and Omega were an absolute treat to get to see all three nights. Downpresser was great to see in their hometown. 11:24pm. Make our trip home. Stop to get gas and leave the pump in the gas tank. We rip it from the station and continue driving. Awesome. Make it home around 4:45am and I was at work at 8:00am. Back to hating our lives.

See the Light of a Dark New Day

As you may have heard, we have just signed with Double Or Nothing Records (http://doubleornothingrecords.com, COA, Steel Nation, Fight Like hell, Die Young)and we are beyond excited to work with them. Hard working and honest come to mind when I think about the guys who run the label. They are brutally honest, really; would you ask for honesty any other way?

We are currently preparing to enter into the studio (I happen to think the wording of that phrase is corny and makes us sound like we are some Arena Rock band. Which we are.) to record for our next split with __________. We will fill in the blank later. We are also about to make our first trip to beautiful Southern California with our friends Skin Like Iron and meet up with Alpha and Omega. Both wonderful bands and they deserve your respect.

New merch coming, new release, touring soon. The works.

I know all of this is trvial, not interesting, and pointless but I'm bored at my work so get fucked.

As the day commemorating the birth of our nation nears in this year of 2008, we must not forget how pressing it is to have knowledge in this day and age. By no means is this stream on consciousness a rant or a blurb about how you should and should not live your life. By all means, BBQ, party, celebrate. Enjoy. The idea of this country is a wonderful idea and that's what the 4th of July is about; celebrating the idea of freedom and happiness. So please, enjoy yourself on this holiday.

However, I do want everyone to remember on this day what happened behind closed doors of even more locked ones. This country was set in place to fail by the elite. Many knew of this plans while others had no idea. The best way to have a strong following of people in such an oppressive time in history such as that one is to promise freedom. They promised opportunity and we took it. They promised the right to life, and we had it. The Government officials and high ranking officers promised EVERYTHING, and we wanted it. Promises were set in place to slowly be taken away. 234 years ago 13 guns were shot off to celebrate the signing of The Document making the 13 colonies no longer ruled by Britain's oppressive hand. May it be known 13 is the number of the Snake, the Serpent, and the Devil himself. May it be known that 13 is an important number and degree in the Masonic hierarchy which many of our Founding Father's had already passed in their quest for total sight through darkness. I am laying the dots for the reader to connect if they are willing.

Education is key, even if you don't believe.
Always listen, always be aware, always think, and never sleep.

UPDATE 6.8.08

The Crucified home front has been busy lately.

Rainfest was a blast and we thank Zack, Brian, and everyone else on the Viaduct staff for letting us be apart of such a great weekend.

On the way home from Rainfest, the radiator in our van cracked and we broke down on Grant's Pass right outside of Ashland, Oregon. We ended up putting all of our band's money into fixing the piece of garbage. So at the moment we are a bit broke and because of this we had to cancel our trip to Southern California in July. So we have put more of our merch up to help make some money back for the van, radiator, and all other expenses.

We have four new shirts up here.

We will have a lot more news within the next two weeks. Until then, never trust, never ignore, never sleep.
